I bought these Thomas PJ's for Brady this week because they were on super clearance and since they were a 3T I thought I could put them away for a while...no such luck. He saw them, grabbed them and ran. Before I knew it he had the tags off and was screaming Thomas. Then he started to get Thomas confused with Hummus. He kept going back for forth on the two. Yes, our son loves hummus, he says "mmm so good." Of all the things he won't eat and this boy loves hummus. But i digress. Any who, he was so excited about his new "big boy" jammies that I had to get a pic of him in them. He also wanted to get a photo. Not sure what it is about the flash, but he loves to take photos of himself and look directly into the flash...weirdo LOL :-). There's also a photo of mom and Brady right after waking up, can't believe I'm posting that one, but he posed so nicely for it. Love that little boy.
To our family and friends, please enjoy the updates and keep us up-to-date with your lives!

Art Smith Trail
Today was another gorgeous day so Nick and I decided to try out a new trail. Today we picked the Art Smith Trail. You can't see the snow as well from this trail, but the desert landscape was so beautiful. They said in March and April the Desert flora is in full bloom so we're looking forward to doing it again. It was a tough trail though with lots of other trails veering off it. A couple of times we wondered if we were on the right trail. It all worked out though. Brady fell asleep on the way up when I had him, but was wide awake when Dad got on him on his way down. He also escaped from the backpack and got to run in the riverbed at the bottom. He kept trying to pick up rocks, and would say "it's too big for Brady." It was so cute.

Funny Face...
I promise to get this on video soon because it's too cute and hilarious not to. Brady is doing this new thing now called "Funny Face" he puts his fingers either in his ears or yours, sticks his tongue inside and out and yells "Funny Face." He also does this when he knows he's doing something he's not supposed to or when it's nuh-nite time. I have tried a few times, but have been unsuccessful. Going to try and get it soon as it promises to be a lot of laughs for everyone.

Antibiotics
It's amazing what medicine will do for a kid. This is the first time Brady has even been on an antibiotic and over night he seems to be doing so much better. It's crazy with all the illnesses he has had never once has the doc given him an antibiotic. It's made a world of difference. I'm not a med pusher, but in this case it was needed. They also gave him an inhaler and breathing chamber so hopefully it all gets cleared up. Eventually she said they want to test him for asthma, especially since I have it, but they are going to hold off for a bit. I'm just glad the little man is starting to feel better and more like himself.

Family Hike
Today was an absolute gorgeous day so Nick, Brady and I went for a hike on the "Bump n Grind" trail. Since we've had some recent weather the mountains were covered in snow. It was so beautiful. Beautiful enough to keep me distracted while we did the long trek. We hiked for a little over two hours today. I had Brady on my back the whole way up and about a quarter of the way down and then I couldn't take it and had to give him up to Nick. That boy is getting a little heavy for the hiking trail.

"The Boys"
Brady "petting the fishies." At one point he had his entire arm and almost his head in the water. He loves to feed the fish.
